Are you tired of repeatedly having to clean your sewer main or having friends over and getting embarrassed because your sewer line backed up? We offer camera inspections of sewer mains as a way to see just what is going on and causing that repeated blockage. By doing so, you can see if there are roots in the line or if there is just something strange stuck.

Our camera systems have locators so that we can determ the precise location of the problem. If there are cleanouts present but cannot be found, the locator can find them too!

Camera inspections are a great way to find ou about what you are buying when purchasing a home. Replacing a sewer line can be thousands of dollars and if you don't know that there is a problem with the sewer line, then it becaomse your problem after the sale. Ask your realtor to include a sewer line inspection in your contract to purchase.

We don't want the monthly work that you would give us for repeated blockages. We want to fix your problem so that you can get back to your life and stop wondering when the next surprise will back up into your home.

We offer enviromentally-friendly drain cleaning services utilizing high-powered sewer cables. Our technicians are highly skilled in clearing clogs and roots from sewer lines in typical circumstances.

There is no situation in which we advocate the use of chemicals to clear drains. As reported in the Novemeber 2006 issue of Consumer Reports, these chemicals are not very effective, highly dangerous and a threat to our enviroment.

These chemicals are extremely acidic and can cause burns if splashed onto skin and can be fatal if swallowed. Water that contains these acids can only be neutralized by adding vinegar or baking soda and allowing to sit for 24 hours.

If chemicals are put into a line that feeds into a septic tank, they will kill the good bacteria that breaks down waste. Sewer lines that have breaks, cracks or roots in the line will allow the chemicals to seep out, possibly into the water table.

As you can see, it doesn't make sense to spend your money on drain cleaning liquids. Don't allow other companies to trick you into believing that their product will work or is safe, because it is not true.

Hydro-jetting is a service that utilizes high pressure water (up to 3,500 psi) from a 500 galon water tank to unclog drains, primarily in commercial circumstances. This method is highly effective in removing grease and/or stand from lines, especially when a standard sewer machine is not sufficient. Other circumstances in which hydro-jetting is benneficial are: oversized lines (greater than 4"), long distances, and blockages that require breaking or moving.

Hydro-jetting is the enviromentally-friendly method of cleaning lines. Although large amounts of water are used, it is far better than putting harmful chemicals into sewer lines that can seem into water tables.

We often advise restaurantes to utilize hydro-jetting as a preventative maintenance measure. Hydro-jetting keeps drain lines open and flowing so that there are not any embarrassing back-ups into the restaurant that could get them shut down by the health department.

Heating and airconditioning services provide more efficient operation from your existing unites.

Air conditioner maintenance and seasonal inspection involves cleaning coils to allow better air flow. Air filters are replaced to keep your coils clean and allow less dirt and pollen into your conditioned space. Cheakcing the refrigerant level is important because too much or too little refrigerants is bad for the compressor and will cause the unit to stop working properly. Electrical system checks will allow us to find some problems before they cause initial or further damage or even shut down a unite.

Heating maintenance is just as important. Carbon Dioxide tests are extremely important because carbon dioxide is odorless and can make people and pets very sick or even cause death. Flame efficiency and proper air flow through the air filter are important to ensure proper operation for lower utility bills. Gas pressure checks should be done to check proper operation of the gas valve which if faulty can cause gas leaks, or explosions. The electrical system and the fan motor should be checked to preven any costly failures.

We are proud to offer seasonal start-ups, shut-downs and maintenance contracts.

Drainworks is excited to offer the latest technology in water line and sewer line replacement. Now instead of digging up costly and beautiful landscaping, cutting into driveways and sidewalks, or busting through your home's floor we can easily replace your old water line or sewer line with minimal disruption to your life and often at a lower cost than traditional methods. Finally, an environmentally friendly option is available! Our company was the first to bring this technology to Santa Fe and we have replaced over 150 lines since acquiring the equipment. You can rely on us for experience and expertise when it comes to trenchless line replacement.

Lateral sewer lines are first inspected with our camera system to ensure that the line does indeed require replacing. If so, then it is replaced with polyethylene pipe that roots cannot penetrate and is leak proof - it can last up to 100 years! To begin the replacement, two access holes are excavated at each end of the damaged pipe, typically at the sewer tap in the street and the connection to the house. A burst head is then attached to the polyethylene pipe and as the head goes along, it bursts the old pipe and pulls the new pipe right in behind. Most sewer line replacements can take place within a day, we prep the job in the morning and then are either finished or cleaning up by the time you get home from work. You can decide to be there or not. As we said, minimal disruption to your life!

Water lines are replaced or installed just as easily. The same basic technology is applied, a pneumatic tool (mole) makes a 2" radius tunnel for the length of necessary water line required and a new water supply line is led through the tunnel and then connected. Because a trench is not being dug, the work is performed in far less time and less cost to you.

Say "NO" to trenches and unnecessary hassle, destruction, and cost! Call us today for an estimate with an inspection given by a highly trained and experienced expert in this impressive technology. Sorry, over the phone estimates are not given because of the variance in degrees of difficulty for each line replacement and to ensure you the most accurate information is given prior to performance of the work.
