Sewer line replacement is VERY EXPENSIVE when large amounts excavation are required. Caitco Drainworks completed a sewer line replacement job in Santa Fe, NM that would have been incredibly expensive if traditional trenching had been done to complete the job. Using state of the art pipe bursting sewer line replacement, CaitCo Drainworks lined over 400 feet of sewer line. The lines had root intrusions and holes/fractures in the lines where rocks were falling in. The lines were about 12-15 feet deep and were on a hillside that made excavation nearly impossible. This is one very good example where lining saved thousands of dollars and a large amount of inconvenience versus excavation.
